Our First Week After Launching Kind Candles!

Wow, what a week it has been! We officially launched Kind Candles just a few days ago, and it has been an incredible journey so far. Starting a small business is always an adventure, and we are so excited to share our progress, challenges, and victories with you.

The Launch

On Feb,1, 2025 we proudly opened Kind Candles to the world! Our Shopify store, kindcandles.store, is up and running, featuring our handcrafted soy blend candles. More than just a candle business, we are committed to giving back—a percentage of every sale goes toward supporting learning disability charities, a cause very close to our hearts.

Marketing & Spreading the Word

In our first week, we focused heavily on spreading the word about Kind Candles. We created two vlogs and two shorts, sharing them on Facebook and YouTube to give everyone a behind-the-scenes look at our candle-making process and our mission. We also ran Google Ads to help reach new customers who love high-quality, eco-friendly candles.

We’ve been getting views and clicks, which is a great start! Every interaction, like, and share brings us closer to building a community of candle lovers who care about quality and giving back.

Challenges & Lessons Learned

One of the biggest challenges has been converting those clicks into sales. While we’re thrilled to see interest in Kind Candles, we know that building trust with new customers takes time. We are exploring ways to improve our website experience, product descriptions, and marketing approach to make it easier for visitors to fall in love with our candles and make a purchase.

Another lesson learned? Running a business is a mix of excitement and patience! Every small business owner experiences ups and downs, and we are embracing the process with open hearts and determination.

What’s Next?

As we move into week two, we are doubling down on engagement—more content, more social media interactions, and more ways to connect with our potential customers. We are also considering adding customer testimonials and offering a special promotion to encourage first-time buyers.
